WH Ireland hires private wealth management head
WH Ireland has appointed Richard Killingbeck as head of private wealth management, who will take over from John Scott.
Scott is to return to managing private client portfolios and will remain an executive director of the WH Ireland board.
Killingbeck will join the company in September, and has previously held a number of senior positions within the industry.
He was previously head of high net worth business at Close Brothers Asset Management and a managing director at Credit Suisse.
Killingbeck says: “With significant industry changes there is a considerable opportunity for WH Ireland to grow the private wealth management business.
“I hope to be able to achieve this, both through organic development of the business, and acquisition of private client managers and teams who wish to join a smaller, less bureaucratic organisation.”
