Seed EIS to be launched for creative industries

Ascension Media Group is to launch a seed enterprise investment scheme (SEIS) investing in the creative and digital technology sectors.
The Ascension Seedcapital for Creative Enterprise and Digital (Ascend) will come into operation when government legislation is introduced on April 6.
The fund is set to be managed by the firm’s creative and digital technology sectors specialists investment arm Ascension Ventures.
Sanjay Wadhwani, founder and chief executive of Ascension Media Group, says: “The creative industries and digital technology sectors in the UK offer very attractive opportunities for investment.
“The government’s introduction of the seed enterprise investment, designed to promote investment in new ventures, to aid economic growth in the UK, is a welcome initiative which will make investment in our sectors even more attractive than ever before.”
