Barings appoints EM debt investment manager

Baring Asset Management has appointed Faisal Ali as an investment manager on the emerging markets debt division.
Ali will report to Thanasis Petronikolos, the head of emerging market debt. This is the second appointment in recent months, following Thomas Kwan who was recruited as head of Asia debt in April.
Ali has previously worked for Observatory Capital as a portfolio manager in the emerging markets team.
