Schroders launches emerging market debt funds
Schroders has launched a trio of offshore funds investing in emerging market debt, which will aim to deliver a return of capital and income.
The Schroder SISF Emerging Market Sovereign Bond fund will be managed by a team headed by James Barrineau, who joined the asset manager in May as head of Latin American fixed income and co-head of emerging market debt relative. Barrineau will be supported on the fund - to be managed from its US office - by Fernando Griales and Chris Tackney.
The same team wll also manage the Schroder SISF Emerging Markets Bond fund.
The Schroder SISF Emerging Market Corporate Bond fund will also be team-managed, led by head of Asian fixed income Rajeev de Mello from its Singapore office.
