With the Isa deadline upon us today, some investors may still be looking for last-minute suggestions for their portfolio.

For the investor with cost in mind, Hargreaves Lansdown has suggested five passive funds with low total expense ratios that cover a range of asset classes.

Hargreaves says: “Tracker funds allow investors to hold a broad range of assets at a low cost and through ETFs, investors can invest in almost any area.

“Costs are an important factor for investors choosing which funds to buy in their Isa. Whilst charges are a critical part of the decision, we recommend that investors need to look at the whole picture when choosing investments.”
