Investec recruits former IMF director

Investec Asset Management has appointed Lelie Lipschitz, former International Monetary Fund (IMF) Institute director, as a visiting strategist.

Based in Cape Town, Lipschitz will work with Investec’s fixed income and multi-asset teams “formulating their macroeconomic and thematic views”.

Lipschitz spent almost 40 years at the IMF Institute holding senior positions within its Asian & Pacific, African and European departments and its policy development & review department. (article continues below)
