Schroders appoints Julia Ho to global macro team

Julia Ho has joined Schroders as a senior portfolio manager in its global macro team.

Ho is based in the asset manager’s London office and reports to Bob Jolly, head of global macro.

She joins Schroders from Western Asset Management, where she has worked since 2003 as a portfolio manager and research analyst. Prior to this, Ho was with Rothschild Asset Management, UOB Asset Management and Nomura Securities.

In June last year, Schroders appointed Rajeev De Mello as its head of Asian fixed income.

De Mello previously worked at Western Asset Management and was temporarily succeeded by Ho and Keith Gartner, head of developing markets, after his departure to Schroders.
