Pictet hires Credit Suisse's Paolini as chief strategist
Pictet Asset Management has hired Luca Paolini from Credit Suisse to serve as its new chief strategist.
Paolini will be based in London and will report to Oliver Ginguené, head of asset allocation and quantitative investments at Pictet. He will also work alongside Patrick Zweifel, the firm’s chief economist, and Steve Donze, who focuses on macrostrategy.
Ginguené says: “Luca will help us provide clients with the insights they need to navigate volatile financial markets, through regular tactical asset allocation briefings with clients and consultants globally.” (article continues below)
Most recently, Paolini was a director in Credit Suisse’s global equity strategy team and has previously held roles at AllianzDresdner AM and Union Investment in Germany.
