JP Morgan investment trust appoints director

The JP Morgan European Smaller Companies investment trust is to appoint Stephen White as a non-executive director of the board from April.

White is currrently head of European and US equities at the British Steel Pension fund, managing its Europe ex-UK and US equity portfolios.

He was formerly director and head of European equities at Foreign & Colonial Investment Management. (article continues below)

He has previously managed the Foreign & Colonial Eurotrust and was deputy manager of the Foreign & Colonial investment trust.
