SR Europe investment trust could wind up

The board of the SR Europe Investment Trust is to propose that the closed-end fund be wound up.
The move follows a review of available options ahead of its next annual general meeting.
However, investors are to be offered the option of rolling their investments into another investment vehicle to maintain exposure and lock in capital gains. Investors will also be able to redeem cash.
Full details of the proposals are set to be published “in due course”.
