Dexion hires JP Morgan Cazenove’s Skinner

Boutique investment bank Dexion Capital has appointed Tom Skinner, former research analyst at JP Morgan Cazenove, as head of research.
Skinner will report to Ana Haurie, managing director of Dexion Group, and lead coverage on listed hedge funds and listed offshore property funds.
The new head of research will also cover listed private equity, infrastructure funds and equity investment companies and joins amid an internal reshuffle at the bank.
Robert Peel has also joined the boutique bank’s corporate finance team from Winterflood Securities investment trust team, working alongside Ravi Anand, head of corporate finance.
Haurie says, “These changes reflect Dexion’s continuing growth. We are particularly pleased at the appointment of such experienced and well regarded individuals.
“They each bring further depth and scope to the existing expertise within Dexion, giving us added firepower as we look forward to a busy and demanding 2012.”
Roy Kuo has also been appointed to lead the bank’s newly-created product development area.
