L&G restructures property management team
Legal & General Property is to restructure its senior management team to support business growth.
Michael Barrie is to be promoted to director of fund management while Nigel Fuller becomes senior fund manager of its Life fund.
Gordon Aitchison will take the position of director of transactions and development and Charlie Walker will become the director of business development.
Bill Hughs, managing director at Legal & General Property (LGP), says: “Following a period of significant growth and strategic strengthening of LGP’s in-house resources, we believe the careful realignment of our platform will help consolidate our strengths and continue to embed a model that has demonstrated the scope to deliver outperformance across the business.”
Following Helen Gordon’s departure, Barrie will take sole responsibility for overseeing the balanced funds, creating a “single integrated platform.”
