Brixit: Nomura report outlines British EU exit scenario

A research note by investment bank Nomura has outlined a scenario for a British exit - Brixit - from the European Union.
The note - seen by the Daily Telegraph - written by Alastair Newton highlights increased scepticism towards the European Union as a result of the eurozone crisis.
It reveals increased pressure from UK politicians for a referendum in a bid to repatriate policy making decisions to Westminster from Brussells, if the government can not secure new concessions from the European partners.
The note highlights an “increasing” possibility of a looser relationship or exit would raise economic and policital concerns.
