The fund can now be accessed by new or existing investors on Standard Life’s platform but no plans have yet been made to reopen the vehicle widely across other platforms.
The fund was soft-closed on August 29 after peaking at just over £1.3 billion. It currently stands at £988m.
A spokesman for Standard Life says: “We have been continually monitoring the fund flows under soft-close conditions and any subsequent available capacity.”
He adds: “The fund currently stands at around £1 billion and taking into account market movements, the current available capacity of the fund means we are in a position to offer access to the fund through selected channels.
“The fund remains soft-closed and we have not authorised any changes to the soft closure measures currently in place for all other third party platforms or distributors.”
